Agreement

By downloading or using Tended, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

What Tended Does

Tended is a family care planner that helps you track medications, appointments, care notes, tasks, and important documents for the loved ones in your life — kids, partners, siblings, parents, or anyone else you care for. It is not a medical device, and it does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Your Account

• You must sign in with Apple or Google to use Tended.
• You are responsible for all activity under your account.
• You must be at least 13 years old to use the app.

Care Circles

• The circle owner controls membership (inviting and removing members).
• All circle members can view and edit shared care data.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of data you enter.
• Do not invite anyone you do not trust to see your family's care information.

Your Data

• You retain ownership of all data you create in Tended.
• We store your data to provide the service. See our Privacy Policy for details.
• Export: Circle owners can export all care data directly from the app at any time.
• Deletion: Circle owners can permanently delete their circle, all care data, and their account directly from Settings in the app. This action is immediate and cannot be undone. Invited family members will lose access immediately.

Premium Subscription

Tended offers a free tier with full solo caregiving features — medications, appointments, care notes, tasks, a vault limited to three documents, and device-level biometric lock. Tended Premium unlocks collaborative and power features:

• Invite family members to your care circle
• Track care for multiple loved ones
• Up to 100 vault documents (photos, scans, PDFs)
• PDF exports (Medical Summary and full Care Binder)

Pricing: Tended Premium is $9.99 per month or $99.99 per year. A 7-day free trial is available when you start a yearly subscription — the trial does not apply to the monthly plan. Prices may vary by region based on Apple's App Store pricing matrix.

• Payment is processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect or store payment information.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
• Family Sharing is enabled. One subscription covers your entire Apple Family Sharing group at no additional cost.
• Premium features are tied to the circle owner's subscription. Invited family members receive Premium access through the owner's subscription while they are members of the circle.
• If the circle owner's subscription lapses and the circle has more than one member, members drop to read-only mode until the owner renews. No data is lost, and access is restored automatically on renewal.

Refunds: All purchases and refund requests are handled by Apple through the App Store. Refund requests should be submitted via reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue refunds directly.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use Tended for any unlawful purpose.
• Upload content that violates the rights of others.
• Attempt to access other users' data outside your care circle.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or tamper with the app.

Disclaimer

Tended is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free or uninterrupted. Tended is not a substitute for professional medical care. Always consult a healthcare provider for medical decisions.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tended and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
